Application Process
If you are interested in being considered for the 2026 cohort of Amplify Her® Foundation Leadership Network, please complete the application by November 15th. Short-listed candidates will be invited to interview, with final selections announced in December.
Membership in Amplify Her® Leadership Network is an opportunity for passionate individuals with diverse personal and professional experiences to serve as strategic partners in advancing gender equity.
Professional experience with significant leadership accomplishments in STEM, finance, business, government, policy development or in other related fields where there is a historical underrepresentation of women
Lived-experience or professional experience in community organizing, policy/advocacy, direct service related to issues of gender and economic justice
Knowledge of the issues and challenges facing under-invested women and girls in New York City; and strategies to advance gender, racial and economic justice
A commitment to and understanding of Amplify Her Foundation’s programmatic work and mission
Strong interpersonal skills, including a commitment to healthy communication, relationship-building, and gaining consensus among diverse individuals
An ability to commit the time required to fulfill the responsibilities described
Reside within the five boroughs of New York City or the Tri-State Area
Over the age of 18 years
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Responsibilities
Recognizing that each member brings unique skills, experiences, and interests, we now offer the option to focus on Grantmaking and/or Mentorship.
Grantmaking: Members evaluate organizations seeking funding by reviewing grant proposals and participating in site visits.
Mentorship: Members provide strategic guidance, facilitate professional connections, and support skill development of Incubator participants.
Time Commitment
Member engagement and active participation is essential to the success of Amplify Her® Leadership Network. We expect members to make reasonable efforts to attend all meetings and events for their focus area(s), which would be approximately 1-2 hours per month.

May - September - Virtual Sessions with Incubator Participants (Mentorship Only)
June & July - In-person Site Visits (Grantmaking only)
August - Summer Social (All Members)
September - Proposal Review (Grantmaking only)
October - Incubator Pitch Competition (Mentorship only)
November - GlassBreaker Celebration (All Members)
December - Holiday Party (All Members)
Term
Term run for two years (January 1st to December 31st), and members must reapply at term end
