AMPLIFY HER® FOUNDATION OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR LOCAL ADVOCACY INCUBATOR

Applications are now open for a six month program offering mentorship, leadership training and funding to New York based women building solutions for gender equity.

New York, NY - November 2025  — Amplify Her® Foundation is proud to Amplilfy Her® Incubator, a new six-month program designed to equip emerging women leaders with the tools, mentorship and funding needed to bring to life their ideas for improving the lives of women and girls across New York City.

Twelve women-led initiatives will be selected for the inaugural cohort through a competitive interview process. Eligible applicants must be women aged 18 or older and currently reside in New York City. Applications are being accepted through January 30th.

As part of the program, Amplify Her® Incubator participants will participate in monthly in-person workshops and receive mentorship from cross-sector leaders. The curriculum will include sessions on visioning for systems change, community-centered design, movement messaging, resource mobilization, organizational leadership, and impact evaluation.

“We know that women—especially women of color—are closest to the challenges our city faces and hold the most promising solutions,” said Marti Speranza Wong, Founder and Executive Director of Amplify Her Foundation. “Through Amplify Her® Incubator, we’re investing directly in their leadership and ensuring they have the resources and mentorship they need to be most effective.

The projects participants may focus on include advocacy campaigns, nonprofits, or policy solutions that work to address inequities across any of the following areas: girls’ education, career readiness, women’s economic mobility, workplace equality and support for working caregivers.

Through a partnership with Robin Hood Foundation’s Design Insight Group, program participants will have the opportunity to co-create and test their solutions with New Yorkers whose lived experiences reflect the challenges their initiatives aim to address. This will ensure their solutions are community-informed, relevant and, therefore, effective.

At the end of the program, eligible participants will present their projects at a pitch competition for the chance to access up to $10,000 of seed funding.  For more details, visit www.amplifyherfoundation.org/incubator.
