Job Description:

Program Facilitator – Amplify Her® Incubator

(part-time position in NYC, February - November 2026)

About the Amplify Her® Incubator

The Amplify Her® Incubator is a six-month mentorship and capacity-building program supporting 12 early-stage women leaders in New York City who are launching bold, gender-equity advocacy initiatives. Through monthly workshops, cross-sector mentorship, and seed funding, the Incubator helps participants move from idea to action, equipping them with the tools, confidence, and community to drive systems-level change that improves the lives of women and girls in New York City and beyond.

Role Overview

The Program Facilitator will co-design, guide, and deliver the learning experience for the 2026 Amplify Her® Incubator cohort. Working in close collaboration with Amplify Her Foundation staff and guest experts, the Facilitator will help shape session content and curriculum flow, lead the monthly in-person workshops, and foster a dynamic, trust-based learning environment rooted in equity and community-centered design.

Amplify Her Foundation staff will manage all program logistics, participant communication, and production of slides and materials, allowing the Facilitator to focus fully on content development, facilitation, and participant experience.

This is an ideal role for a skilled facilitator who thrives at the intersection of leadership development, advocacy, and social impact, and who believes deeply in the power of women-led, community-driven change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-Create and Guide Curriculum: Collaborate with Amplify Her Foundation staff to co-design session content, refine curriculum materials, and ensure continuity across the six-month learning journey.

  • Lead Monthly Workshops: Facilitate six 2-hour, in-person workshops in New York City (April–September 2026), blending learning, reflection, and peer exchange.

  • Support Pitch Preparation: Provide guidance and light coaching to participants as they develop their final pitch decks and presentation materials in advance of the November 2026 Pitch Competition.

  • Support Participant Growth: Offer individualized and group feedback to help participants strengthen their leadership capacity, advocacy strategies, and systems-thinking approach.

  • Foster Cohort Connection: Build an inclusive and collaborative environment that encourages participants to learn from one another, share challenges, and celebrate progress.

  • Attend Key Events: Participate in select social gatherings hosted for participants throughout the program, as well as the Pitch Competition in November 2026 (mandatory).

  • Advance Equity-Centered Practice: Model inclusive, participatory facilitation that centers lived experience, co-creation, and accountability to community.

  • Provide Feedback & Insights: Share informal reflections or recommendations with Amplify Her Foundation staff as needed to support ongoing improvement of session content and participant experience.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience facilitating leadership, advocacy, or professional development programs, ideally within the nonprofit, philanthropic, or social-impact sector.

  • Experience co-developing curricula or workshop content for adult learners.

  • Deep understanding of gender equity, racial justice, and human-centered or participatory design.

  • Exceptional facilitation and group-dynamics skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage diverse participants and adapt to various learning styles.

  • Strong interpersonal, storytelling, and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with New York City’s social impact ecosystem and Amplify Her Foundation’s focus areas - girls’ education, economic mobility, workplace equity, and support for working caregivers - is a plus.

Time Commitment and Compensation

Approximately 10 hours per month, including preparation, facilitation, and debrief. This reflects the average expected commitment over the 10 months; however, hours may fluctuate based on program needs, with additional time anticipated during the preparation phase (February–March 2026).

  • Preparation (February–March 2026): Collaborate with Amplify Her Foundation staff to refine session content, flow, and facilitation materials before program launch. Attend the participant kick-off event in March 2026 to help set the tone and establish early connections with the cohort.

  • In-person Workshops (April–September 2026): Lead one, 2-hour, evening workshop per month in New York City.

  • Pitch Preparation (October–November 2026): Provide feedback and rehearsal support to participants in advance of the Pitch Competition.

  • Pitch Competition (November 2026): attendance and participation as a judge/panelist required.

  • Additional Events: Occasional social or community gatherings encouraged (dates TBD).

  • Collaboration: Remote preparation and coordination via Zoom and shared documents.

  • Compensation: Offered on a competitive contract basis, up to $12,000 total.
