GRANT PURPOSE & IMPACT
Amplify Her Foundation funding will support Full STEAM Forward’s mission to inspire girls’ curiosity, confidence, and academic success through high-quality, free after-school STEAM education. The organization delivers a unique three-year curriculum for 3rd–5th grade girls that blends science, technology, engineering, arts, and math with hands-on, project-based learning. Each year builds on the last, introducing increasingly complex concepts and giving girls the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned through real-world problem solving, community-based science projects, and interactive field experiences.
In addition to after-school classes, Full STEAM Forward enriches its programs with a monthly speaker series featuring diverse women in STEAM careers, a growing family engagement component, and innovative new modules such as the recently launched curriculum on artificial intelligence and ethical technology use. Recognizing that teachers are central to student success, the organization is also expanding its professional development offerings, equipping both STEM and non-STEM educators with the tools and confidence to deliver engaging, inquiry-driven instruction. With Amplify Her Foundation’s support, Full STEAM Forward will continue to spark a lifelong love of science, prepare girls to envision themselves as future leaders in STEAM, and advance equity in a sector where women, particularly women of color, remain vastly underrepresented.
