THE 92nd STREET Y NEW YORK

Women inPower is a reminder of what happens when people bring their extraordinary talent and vision together to learn from one another. It is also a reminder of the incredible potential that we can unleash as a society when we focus on helping women to succeed and advance. As a mentor, I have been fortunate to witness and to learn from the growth, ambition, and curiosity of the amazing women in this program. Thank you to Amplify Her Foundation for the partnership and support of this powerful force for change.

MISSION

The 92nd Street Y (92NY) is a cultural and community center where people all over the world connect through culture, arts, entertainment and conversation. 92NY’s Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact builds on this legacy by developing and scaling initiatives that enable change leaders to activate ripples of impact, such as through #GivingTuesday, the global day of giving that was born at the organization. By building the capacity and social connection of leaders who mobilize communities towards positive transformation, the Belfer Center harnesses 92NY’s commitment to community to create meaningful change.

GRANT PURPOSE & IMPACT

Amplify Her Foundation funding supports Women inPower (WiP), a cross-sector fellowship program advancing high-potential women to the highest levels of leadership. Founded a decade ago and now entering a new phase of growth, WiP equips senior-level women, typically three to five years from the C-suite, with one-on-one mentorship, leadership training, executive coaching, and a powerful community of peers.

Each year, approximately 30 fellows from corporate, nonprofit, government, and entrepreneurial backgrounds are selected for this free, year-long program. Through workshops, mentorship, and networking, fellows strengthen their executive readiness, build confidence, and gain the tools to break barriers in their fields. WiP’s distinctive emphasis on social impact ensures that as alumnae rise, they also champion equity, inclusivity, and opportunity for others.

Through its fellowship, speaker series, and the newly launched Women inPower Summit, WiP continues to expand its reach. In 2025, the program also introduced a groundbreaking Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort, the first fellowship of its kind designed specifically for neurodivergent women in leadership.

With Amplify Her Foundation’s support, WiP is shaping a future where women leaders not only achieve executive success but also “send the ladder back down,” paving the way for generations of diverse leaders to follow.
